In this line of work, I am always stumbling upon new ideas and really cool things.

April 28 - Ephemera
At one time, I had a kitchen table. I used to be able to sit down and eat dinner at it. I think it was made of wood. I can't be sure anymore because I can't see it. It's completely covered with antique photographs, vintage magazines, letters, old money, etc. One of the coolest things I've found recently was a war ration book. I had never seen one before. On the back of the book it says, "Be guided by the rule: If you don't need it, DON'T BUY IT." Guess that's still good advice.
April 10 - Brooch/Jewelry Bouquets
I may be late to the game, but I had NEVER heard of this before. I saw one on pinterest last week and fell in love. It was only $700! ONLY! Since I didnt have that kind of cash laying around, and I really wanted to hold one and pretend I was getting married again, I had to make my own. Hundreds of broken pieces of vintage jewelry, 2 bottles of E6000, and oned ruined table later, I have my own bouquet.
March 28 - Repurposed Broken Vintage Jewelry Necklaces
What better way to put broken jewelry to good use! I love when people make these georgous necklaces with different vintage pieces from different necklaces. I tried to make one and failed miserably. Maybe I'll try again another day, but I'll probably just end up buying one.
